Brazilian butt lift for shapely curves
The Brazilian Butt Lift kills two birds with one stone. This method of buttock enlargement involves suctioning your own fat from one area of the body and reintroducing it into the buttocks to enlarge and shape it. As a result, the bottom is rounder and firmer and problem areas in other areas of the body are corrected at the same time.

For the Brazilian Butt Lift, several liters of fat must be removed elsewhere. If you want butt enlargement but don't have enough of your own fat, you can also have implants inserted or combine both methods. There are round or anatomical silicone pads, similar to those used for breast augmentation, and they are inserted either under or into the gluteus muscle.

The Brazilian butt lift and buttock enlargement with implants are relatively low-risk procedures as they are routine procedures in many clinics. In both cases, however, patients should ensure that only a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery and an experienced specialist in anesthesia carry out the buttock surgery. The Brazilian butt lift in particular is often carried out by doctors who do not have any of the expertise mentioned.

You should insure yourself for complications that require follow-up treatments – such as capsular fibrosis. In these cases, with beautyprotect you protect yourself from high costs that you had not planned for and that are not covered by your health insurance company.

Advice on preparing for buttock surgery
Whether you are planning a Brazilian butt lift or buttock enlargement with implants, for both buttock surgeries you should have completed any weight loss in advance. Otherwise, the usual precautionary measures apply, as follows:

  • Make sure that you are in a healthy state before the buttocks operation and avoid nicotine, alcohol and blood thinning agents for at least two weeks before and after the buttocks enlargement.
  • If you need to take anticoagulant or anticoagulant medication due to illness, discuss this with your doctor.
  • If your butt enlargement takes place under general anesthesia, you should be fasting - i.e. not eating anything after 10 p.m. the evening before the procedure.
  • We recommend organizing an accompanying person for your bottom surgery who will pick you up from the clinic and support you with the first steps at home.
  • After the Brazilian butt lift for buttock enlargement and after the use of implants, you will not be able to work for about two weeks, or at least you will not be able to sit at a desk. Therefore, submit your vacation in advance in good time.
What you should consider after buttock surgery
As long as you follow a few small rules after butt enlargement, the desired result should be achieved after about three to four months. During the Brazilian Butt Lift, some of your own fat can evaporate again. However, the amount should remain minimal.

  • After the buttock operation, you will usually stay in the clinic for two to four nights, then you should take it easy for two weeks. However, small, non-strenuous activities are easily possible.
  • Both after the Brazilian Butt Lift and after the use of implants, the pain is limited, similar to sore muscles.
  • For the first two months, you will wear a girdle to support and secure the butt implants and to protect the areas where fat may have been removed.
  • You should only sleep on your stomach for the first few weeks and only start exercising after six to eight weeks. However, you can sit again after about two days - regardless of whether you have a Brazilian butt lift or butt enlargement implants.
  • The small scars usually disappear quite quickly. In order to have a positive effect on the result in the long term, you should avoid UV radiation from the sun or solarium.
